Material Choices

- Glass vs. PP pipettes: Glass is inert and premium-feeling but adds breakage risk in shipping. PP pipettes are lighter, cheaper, and nearly unbreakable, at some cost to perceived luxury.
- Oil compatibility: Some essential oils degrade certain rubber compounds over time. Where a formula is oil-heavy, confirm bulb material compatibility before committing to a resin. Finding out during shelf life testing means restarting the clock on validation.
Child-Resistant Dropper Closures
THC and CBD tinctures sold in most U.S. states require CR closures meeting 16 CFR 1700 testing standards. CR dropper mechanisms typically use a push-and-turn cap over the dropper assembly.
