Malibu tube and tottle bottles with flat top caps from Jadewell

Malibu Tubes & Tottles

A tottle is a tube-bottle hybrid: a soft squeezable body with a flat closure that lets the unit stand inverted. Product collects at the dispensing end under gravity, so the user gets the last of the fill without shaking or scraping.

That is the reason the format exists. On a viscous cream in a conventional upright bottle, the residual left behind can be a meaningful share of the fill, which the consumer notices and the brand pays for.

Sizes & Materials

Capacity range: 30mL to 90mL (1 oz to 3 oz), including 45, 50, 60 and 89mL.

Resins:

  • HDPE. Stiffer wall, better chemical resistance.
  • PE. Density tuned for squeeze feel.
  • PET. Clarity where the formula is a selling point.
  • PETG. Available at 60mL for heavy-wall clarity.

PCR at 25-50% available in HDPE and PET.

Applications

Lotions, serums, and treatment creams in travel and mid-size formats. Hair styling creams and leave-in conditioners.

Sunscreen and body care, where the inverted format suits one-handed use.

Sample and travel programs. All sizes in this range fall under the 100mL TSA carry-on limit, which makes the format a default for travel SKUs.

Tooling & Minimum Order

All sizes run from stock tooling with no mold charge. MOQ starts at 10,000 units per size and color.

The closure matters more than usual on this format. The flat cap is the standing surface, so its seal has to hold under the weight of the product sitting on it for the life of the unit. We supply matched closures rather than leaving that fit to chance.

Tooling fee waived at 1,000,000 units. Available from both China and Vietnam.
