Jars trade the controlled pour of a narrow neck for full access to the contents. For products that are scooped rather than poured, such as balms, creams, waxes, powders, and cannabis flower, a wide mouth is a requirement rather than a preference.
The trade-off is headspace. A wide opening exposes more product surface to air at every use, so oxidation-sensitive formulas need either an airless system instead or a formulation that tolerates it.
Capacity range: 7mL to 500mL (0.24 oz to 16.9 oz), including 10, 18, 20, 30, 36.9, 50, 60, 100 and 250mL.
Resins. Resin choice is the decisive specification on jars:
Cosmetic creams, balms, and masks in the 10-100mL sizes. Acrylic double-wall jars for premium skincare where perceived value carries the price.
Cannabis flower and concentrate jars, available in child-resistant configurations tested to 16 CFR 1700. Note the resin guidance above, since terpene-bearing contents will destroy a PS jar. Specify SAN, PP, or PET.

All sizes run from stock tooling with no mold charge. MOQ starts at 10,000 units per size and color.
Jars are injection molded rather than blow molded, so the tooling is more expensive to cut than a bottle mold but holds tighter thread tolerances. If you are matching a specific closure or a liner, tell us the closure spec first. Thread fit on a jar is less forgiving than on a blown neck.
