Clear PET Boston round bottles in multiple sizes from Jadewell

Boston Round Bottles

The Boston round is the most widely specified bottle shape in packaging. Rounded shoulders, straight cylindrical sides, and a narrow neck give it structural strength, easy labeling, and controlled pour.

The narrow neck is the functional element. It restricts flow for dropper, dispensing, and metered applications, and it reduces headspace oxygen relative to a wide-mouth format, which matters for oxidation-sensitive fills like serums and tinctures.

Sizes & Materials

Capacity range: 20mL to 1000mL (0.7 oz to 33.8 oz), including 40, 50, 60, 70, 80, 85, 90, 100, 110, 120, 250, 280, 300, 350, 400, 500 and 900mL.

Neck sizes: 16mm through 40mm, with 24mm and 28mm the most commonly ordered.

Resins:

  • PET. Glass-like clarity and the best gas barrier in the range. Stretch blow molded.
  • HDPE. Opaque, excellent chemical resistance, the default for aggressive fills.
  • LDPE. Squeezable wall for dropper and dispensing formats.
  • PE. Density selected at quoting based on your fill.

PCR content of 25-50% is available in both PET and HDPE.

Applications

Serums, toners, and facial oils in the 20-120mL sizes. Tinctures and supplement liquids where the narrow neck suits a dropper closure. Pharmaceutical and nutraceutical packaging.

In the 250mL and up sizes, Boston rounds move into household and industrial chemicals, hair care, and cleaning concentrates, usually in HDPE for chemical resistance.

For cannabis, PET Boston rounds work well for non-terpene-bearing liquids. Confirm compatibility before tooling if the fill is terpene-heavy.

Tooling & Minimum Order

Every size listed above runs from existing tooling, so there is no mold charge on stock Boston rounds. MOQ starts at 10,000 units per size and color.

Custom geometry, a non-standard neck, or a proprietary shape requires new tooling. We design and cut molds in-house at both facilities, and the tooling fee is waived at 1,000,000 units.

Ask for the Vietnam quote alongside the China quote. The same mold runs at both plants, and Vietnam-origin goods currently land at roughly 16.5 percent combined US duty against roughly 40 percent from China.
